Just finished making up about 10 of these set ups and put them up on the website for $49.95. Used the OEM BMW ABS Modulator resevior caps (expensive buggers!) and an 8oz plastic funnel as seen in many posts here and other places. Just get yourself some wood shims and this funnel adapter tool and start bleeding your own brakes. The JVB R1200 Maintenance DVD shows the procedure very well and is recommended if you have not done this before. For use on all R1150R/RT/RS, Late model R1100s, late model K1200LT/RS/GT, the newer K1200S/R/GT models and any BMW with Integral ABS (servo assist brakes). Get yours here: http://www.beemerboneyard.com/abs3funnel.html and Jim's DVD here: http://www.beemerboneyard.com/jvbdvd1200.html .
thanks,
Mike

That is a good deal. I have one I made and have since cut the funnel 1" above the cap and put a 2" piece of Tygon tubing on it. Now I can get it on the reservoirs of the 05 and up with out removing the large left side tupperware and it makes clearing the frame a snap.

When you say "late model K12LT....." what year are you talking about. I have an '05.
Sorry for the confusion.

In this case late-model refers to when BMW put their Integral ABS (Servo Assist) on the LT, which I think was around 2001/02. So your 2005 has it. Basically if you pull the lever and hear a whine, you have it.
