I lived in Washington for years and used to spend a lot of time along the Oregon coast during the summers. Rain is really not a major issue. If it does rain it is very light and doesn't last long...most days. It can drizzle all day long, but mid june should be great. Temps will be perfect for riding and there is a lot to see along the coast, so have a great time!!!

Jerry is right, But eastern Oregon and Idaho also have fantastic riding. I would have a plan "A" for the coast and plan "B" for the eastern side of the mountains. You will not have a hard time finding lodging along the way. Just wing it and enjoy.

Here in the Willamette Valley it doesn't really warm up until after July 4.
The Coast however is pretty constant and I've seen 80 dfegrees F in February.
Last Friday it was 70's
Rain is always a sort of drizzle
The only concern is wind on the coast, (yesterday a warning of 70 mph gusts)
June should be cool and touristy................

Albertarider, you did very well not picking the first weeked in June. This is when the annual Rose Festval is held in Portland, OR. I GUARANTEE it will pour down buckets of rain the weather will be cold ad the wind she will blow. I have lived in the Portland area for 22 years and this is the only weather I've seen for Rose Festival week. Our inclement weather that time of year comes off the Pacific so it is wet and nasty at the coast.
You will want mefium warm waterproof gear as it can get chilly that time of year. Not in the 30's F but mornings in the low to mid 40's aren't unusual.
Eastern Oregon? It will likely be quite toasty with highs in the upper 60's F to the 90's. Weather in early to mid June in Oregon is 'variable' to say the least.
If you are wine connoiseurs you might want to visit the Walla Walla, WA area as there are some pretty tasty wines being produced there.

If you expect and plan for rain, the weather may meet your expectations. If it does not rain, consider it a bonus.
