Any one using a Visalert with their Radar Detector?

Just wondering if anyone has experience they would like to share with using a Vizalert with their radar detector?

I am using this one from Marc Parnes. It serves the purpose but I would still rather be wired into the audio. As far as visual alerts go this one works well.

I tried Visalert also but my experience is that it is not nearly equal to the auditory warning if you can get one. I thought mounting placement was as good as I could get but just too many times I didn't notice or reacted slowly. Then again, maybe I didn't use it long enough to train myself.
