here is a link to some waterfalls i n North Carolina area,
Bridal Falls is on 28/64 just outside of Highlands NC

I copied and pasted the list into Excell and intend to print them out when we go on our next road trip after I arrange them by lat/long numbers.
Then we'll try to see as many as is possible.
I second your suggestion on route 28, great road and spectacular falls, we like dry falls the best.

I wonder if there's a website similar to this about covered bridges?

yes there is, I have it somewhere

BTW I spoke to a CCR God and I will be putting together some map soruce files for CCR riders they will be coming up soon

Thanks for the link, Tom. As I expected, going up a page to http://geology.com/waterfalls/ allows you to seethe whole US, then zoom in on local waterfalls. I'm sure there are other interesting features on that site as well. Pretty cool.
