I don't think so, I am looking for a second bike and have emailed two dealers and three private party individuals. Even stopped by one dealer with a reasonable offer and I received NO REPLIES!!!! Nobody needs my money. If things were truly bad some one would have made time to get back with me. So far, Three days and nothing???

Or, as is more often the case these days, the dealers could not afford inventory like they used to and let so many go, that they are 5 days behind answering the phone and 3 weeks behind on mail.

The other three guys - likely one of them is at work, the other two are running around interviewing, standing in line for aid or food stamps.

I only wish it was as simple as it used to be. If I hear one more person ask why if Global Warming is real, is it so darn cold this winter. As if they did not know where all the ice cold water from the missing polar ice cap went.

Well, that is my guess on your lack of response. I see that in so many places that used to have staff.

How about a beautiful Silver LT Brian? I am sure Art will make you a deal you can't refuse! You remember how it was to ride the big gal don't you? Don't you miss her?

Or make Ernie an offer on his Green machine!

Since Christmas LoneStar BMW (Local BMW Dealer) has sold 15 F800GS. On Wendsday I went to Ft Worth BMW and picked up 2 F800GS both already sold. LoneStar has 5 more on order all are presold. They have a 90 day waiting list on the F800GS. They are moving almost everything the have in a 2 week turn around time.

I agree with the OP.

I just bought a new Pick-em Up Truck a few months ago. Figuring it was the end of year, I went from dealer to dealer looking for a good deal. NOBODY was willing to deal! Toyota, Chevy, Ford - they all wanted top dollar for their trucks. As much as they were hurting for business, they were not willing to deal at all!

I was shocked, mostly at Toyota. They wanted to sell me a "Program" Tundra with 9,000 miles on it for $1,000 below sticker price. This was in essence a used truck they were selling for new truck price.

Eventually GMC called me back with a good deal (their "Red Tag" event) and I bought a brand new GMC pick-em up truck for almost $10,000 BELOW sticker.

That's motivation!!!
