Is there any one out there that can help me with an intercom system.
My cousin and I ride together a lot, many long trips. I have an 06 LT
with intercom and my helmet has a J&M headset. He has no intercom
system and no connection to his helmet. We would like to talk while
riding. I know there are a lot of options out there, I don't want to get
something that doesn't work well. Any info would help!

Thanks PeterLT

Since I'm reading this post under the "Accessories, Gadgets, and Gear" heading I'll assume that you have read through the many threads posted in that area under Intercom, CB, & 2-Way Radios (forumdisplay.php?f=55). If that's not the case then I suggest you do so. There are pros and cons to each of the solutions to your situation. Whether you and your buddy decide to go CB/FRS/or Blue Tooth will depend largely on the ultimate usage that you define for your system and of course on how much money to want to spend. In any event you should be able to incorporate most of those systems to work through your existing intercom and your buddy can install a stand alone system so as to communicate with you.
I know this doesn't provide you with a simple answer to your question, however if you so some homework and have more specific questions about any of the individual devices I'm sure there are folks around here that can fill in the blanks for you.
