I will be buying a 2006 LT in a few months, and finding a helmet (3/4 face) that supports the BMW ComSystem is challenging. The only helmet I have found is from J&M (http://www.jmcorp.com/KBChelmets.asp). And yes I have checked with my local dealer who does not seem to have any experience with the ComSystem or helmets with headsets/speakers built in. Any comments on this helmet (or others) and integrating with the ComSystem would be great.
I plan to install the following equipment and assume I can pipe all audio into my helmet:
iPod
Ham Radio
All band weather receiver
Cell phone (if possible)
Thanks
Mark

You do know that all the US NOAA weather channels are on your LT don't you?? Press the AM button two time and you will be switched over to the NOAA channels. You can then use the channel up/down on the left grip control pod or hit scan on the controls for the radio.
Cheers.

Steve, I plan to install another mobile unit (just like my VHF rig) and not use the AM radio.

I have the J&M / Nolen combo. But I just checked thier website and don't see Nolen anymore.......Wonder what happened...
Anyway, J&M does and OUTSTANDING job installing the headset. I'm sure you will be happy with them.

Justin,
It could be you miss spelled it. They are still there. Try this.

Yes, I screw-up the spelling...
But J&M use to sell their headsets installed in a Nolan helmet. They don't have them on their website any more...I don't know why. I did shoot off an email to them asking why. I bought one about 6moths ago and love it. The install job they did was outstanding. I'm very happy. I DO NOT like and don't recommend the J&M clip-on set that installs on the helmet edge. I have two, and they are nothing but trouble.
