I appreciate all of the symbolism going into (and up to) the inauguration, but doesn't it seem the media folks are still selling this guy? I'm expecting them to break into the Hallelujah Chorus after he takes the oath.

I do hope the guy brings change to the partisan business as usual BS in DC, but honestly I don't think he can possibly live up to the hype the MSM is spewing.

Holy shit, Dave, I have NEVER seen the slobbering taken to this level before. Cab, he don't need no stinking cab! He'll fly to the White house--cause that's what Superman does!

Of course, in these "once every 100 years" extreme economic times, we won't even get into the cost of all this symbolism over substance.

what change, he is putting the same criminals in office that have been there all along, there is no one he has appointed that does not have some connection to the coruption that has been present over our voting lifetimes

Change is what we needed, but didnt get a bit of. We needed to oust all in office now and get new fresh minds that would not be putting has-beens back in power
