yet another cell phone question

Plugged the Treo into the Comm System (old BC-1) and placed a call to the better half. As long as I stayed under 30mph, she could hear me. She said it was crackly, but she could hear me. Above 30, forget it. Sounds like alternator noise problem to me.

Thoughts? Ways to fix?

Could be wind noise also......Try talking to her at a stop and run the rpm up while talking to see if the alternator makes a difference then. If not, it is wind noise and try the windshield up when talking or a sock on the mic.
