Can't...
My wife is a Teacher's Assistant (abbreviation: Teacher's Ass. :rotf: )for the public school system and they return to school the last week of August. We're PLANNING on going to Johnson City for the BMWMOA rally though!

We haven't registered yet but the wife and I are making all planning preparations for the ride out. Did CCR 2007 and missed 2008 but I don't want to miss 2009. Will register for CCR 2009 soon!!!......Rob and Deb

I am giving it SERIOUS thought. I've already started working on my SO.
Hell, you will pass my house on the trip out. Maybe that is the excuse I need.

I will be going solo. Our daughter will be starting high school that week, so the wife is staying home.
Do you have a blue '07 LT?

I thought so, the ride up into Vermont last spring. Was a real nice ride.

Thought I'd resurrect this thread as the time is drawing near.
I plan on leaving the 28th and taking the scenic route. I will be heading down through PA, with a stop in Punxsutawney to see Phil, then up through Michigan because I want to ride over the Mackinac Bridge. Then I will be heading to Itasca State Park in Minnesota to see the Mississippi headwaters. From there I will be heading to Rapid City via Wabasha MN to get a pic of me on the bench with Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon painted on it.
I have the week after CCR off from work, so will take an even more scenic route home, probably heading south then east. I may take route 50 back east from Colorado, not sure yet. I will have nine days to get back home to New Hampshire, so an exact route is not necessary at this time.
Due to budgetary restraints (read "no extra money") I will be camping this trip other than at CCR.
