Hi Rod,

we are two Finns going the other way, from CCR to Toronto. And we would need to make it to the airport by Sunday evening (Sept 3rd). Leaving CCR Saturday morning.
So we have not really time for any scenic routes but we would highly appreciate local road knowledge...

Ari, I am staying only Th and Fri nights at CCR and leaving Sat morning to make it back to Toronto by Sunday evening. I want to be back at work on Monday (or at least that's the plan). Sounds like we're doing the same ride.

Are you riding from Toronto to CCR as well or only back?

In any event, I'd be happy to give you what I can for road knowledge, at least near Toronto to get to the airport easily. If you can give me a way to contact you when we're at the CCR, I would be glad to sit down and describe the way to get to Toronto (bring spare change for the US tollways), and even ride back with you (some or all of the way) if you so desired. I'm going there anyway.

Hi Rod,

thanks for your offer. We are only travelling one way to Toronto (you can check our route plan on the CCR forum) and we should be at the airport Sunday evening 18:30 at the latest. Our bikes will fly to Frankfurt the 5th but the freight center requires the bikes to be dropped 48 hours prior to flight.

Let's be in touch later on when our travel plans get little firmer.
