What are they doing, why are they doing it, and where is it being done?
The guy featured in the video looks like a Darwin Award candidate.

As "een biertijd" is Dutch for a little (25cl) beer.
But dropping "exploding hammer festival" into Google came up with a
YouTube link that revealed that it is a Mexican festival for Saint San
Juanito. My Spanish isn't up to much but am I right in saying that San Juanito means "without a single tooth"? Given how his day's celebrated it sounds pretty apt.

C4 & masking tape . . . deadly!

Now,
If I had a hammer
I'd hammer in the morning
I'd hammer in the evening
All over this land
I'd hammer out danger
I'd hammer out a warning
I'd hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land
If I had a bell
I'd ring it in the morning
I'd ring it in the evening
All over this land
I'd ring out danger
I'd ring out a warning
I'd ring out love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land
If I had a song
I'd sing it in the morning
I'd sing it in the evening
All over this land
I'd sing out danger
I'd sing out a warning
I'd sing out love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land
Well I've got a hammer
And I've got a bell
And I've got a song to sing
All over this land
It's the hammer of justice
It's the bell of freedom
It's the song about love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land

Well I have one application I could see this being used for. I've always hated digging post holes. Now one could adjust the charge based upon soil density and depth desired.

hehehe... oooo... hehehe..
Yeah.. I tried hammering "30.06" primers with a ball peen hammer..... thankfully I did NOT have my head over it when the hammer squished the primer..
I was able to hang on to the hammer...
These guys are just a little over the limit... Darwin indeed!
(Thankfully no Vise was harmed in the making of that video.)
