Hi all,
I had previously a great R1150GS Adventure, it was big, it had grunt and it was just the right bike for a tall guy like me! The most funny was that prior to that flat twin I had a good sample of japaneese four cylinders in my life!
Must be when you get older and more mature that you can undertsand what a flat twin is all about!
Anyway! Had to sell it and had to make a decision for a new one...the 1200GS sounded logical...hmm to nervous (not enough grunt at low rps) and it just felt so light and small!
Had to test the R1200RT (http://www.unicornadventures.org/index.php?2005/08/25/23-bmw-r1200rt) and guess what? Yep bought one! And since then I am crazy about it!
