IMC headsets??

I recently purchased a pair of head sets from IMC motorcom. The speakers are very slim (6mm) and look like they will fit the C2 helmet nicely. The headsets came c/w a coiled connector cord and the boxes indicated that they were BMW specific. I have read through the voice II instructions, the intercom function selector is "on", I get radio sound etc., but the mics are DEAD.

Here's a couple of things to check:

Both headsets must be plugged in (driver & passenger)
Make sure the voice activation setting is not too high on the Voice II
If possible, find someone who has a working set of headsets for their Voice II and try them on yours.
It's possible the IMC headsets are not compatible with the Voice II.

Thanks for the suggestions Bruce. It's looking like the compatible thing.
I am going contact IMC for their explanation.
