An advertisement for Bay Area Yamaha ran during their segment... Call THEM and let them know about it, they'd probably pull the advertising, which would help make live 105 pay attention.
Makes me sick.

Sent them e-mail telling them how I felt about that. Pointed out that it was just plain wrong to encourage someone to cause another harm, lane splitting is legal in California, should someone get me with a car door, they'd better hope and pray it incapacitates me cause I'm gonna be one real mad redneck and that they had better call their insurance carrier for some added coverage. Sounds like a young and hungry lair, I mean lawyer is gonna make a name for him/herself and make a couple of bucks.
When living in Santa Anna in '78 I did see someone getting a motor cycle rider with a car door on I 5, Friday afternoon rush hour/parking lot. What the car door operator didn't see was the 3 other motorcycles following the one he got. They proceeded to pull him out of his car and issue him the a$$ beating he richly deserved for that stupid stunt. Didn't hurt the Kaw 900 much at all, bent the front fender a little.

I too sent them a friendly reminder that I will make sure to let our marketing department know where NOT to spend the $$. LOL. Not that we do any advertising in the Bay area, but that would be a station to absolutely boycott. These guys are really morons!

That's BS and I emailed them too. All the DJ's on that station should take some logic classes soon before they mis-inform any other impressionable minds with their garbage precepts. This isn't just for Bay/CA riders either.

This was just posted in LT chit-chat today and titled for Bay/CA riders, but we all need to read and hear what they said on the air today and email these dipsticks on the radio. Please don't move to less traveled forum. Please read and listen below to what was said and email the fools:
Listen to what they said:
http://www.live105.com/music/audio/motor1.rm
http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/f...15&pagenumber=1
Contact them and let them know how you feel:
http://www.live105.com/interact/contact/default.htm
Contact the FCC
Then... we should send these idiots to some good courses on logic and commonsense.

I don't know if this is *the* correct route, but it is an FCC complaint chanel
http://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/cib/fcc475B.cfm
It's listes as: Obscene, Profane, and/or Indecent Material Complaint Form
Nail 'em. This is similar to yelling "Fire" in a theater or inciting criminal activity. Those boys should be facing some jail time (IMNSHO)

What the hell is wrong with people? Why would anyone want to do something like that?
I think these folks should spend a little time behind bars, that is a direct threat to bikers.
I hope no big mean nasty stinky bikers know where their studio is :)
Time to organize a huge biker rally around that place!
ya'll be careful out that way, I wish we could lane split in every state, my clutch arm wouldn't be twice the size as my other one....geo

You have to love the way he back-pedaled when the one guy called him on his words. I would love to meet this guy on the street and make him "eat it hard". Then say, "What's wrong man? I didn't mean you no harm. Just thought it would be cool to see you EAT IT HARD." Wow...what a first-class MORON!!! http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif
Another thing we can all do to get these guys is to make sure and post this link on as many motorcycle forums as possible. Let the masses raise their voice! I'm headed over to the Ninja forum NOW.

Just some radio jock ranting about lanesplitting motorcyclsits in San Francisco traffic, while he has to sit in his pickup truck idling.
I always have one thing to say to such lamentations: "If you cant beat 'em, join 'em". Most of these whiners are sitting in their cages alone, so nothing is logistically stopping them from selecting a better mode of transportation.
I don't agree with letting hybrid cars in the HOV lanes. It defeats their intended purpose of reducing traffic volume by encouraging car pooling. But hey, I'd even consider taking advantage of this bad law if I had HOV lanes on my commute.
