I'm gonna try and work this museum (http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2008/06/dennis-albaughs-collection-in-alkeny.html) in during the CCR trip next year - if they open to the public at all. Some say yes - others say no.

I will need to get well-hydrated, cuz I know I'm gonna drool beeg time!!! ;)

Very Cool.... the guy is from Ankeny, Iowa just outside Des Moines.

Yeah, well, the description also says he made his fortune in fertilizers and weed killers ... in other words, by poisoning the land. Bastard. The older I get, the more I dislike billionaires. Don't trust 'em. It's people like this who are the reason you seldom see ilk in the wild anymore. Fords are way better anyway.

I did, and the tour is in the planning stages.

So far, all we've set up is the admission cost = a full 1-gallon container of Round-Up. :rolleyes: ;)

That's definitely worth drooling over. Kid in a candy store type of dream right there!

And I like the smooth way you confessed to coming to CCR this year. It'll be great to see you again!

Yeppir, David. Same here. It's been way many too long since I've hob-nobbed with you and the CCR fambly!! I've got my cruise insurance all paid up, and ole Toad has been practicin' the tie-down procedure!! :D SoDak, here we come. And as my neighbor, the Grifster, would say - "Are we there yet?!" :)
