GS Gas Gauge Gone Crazy

Can anyone suggest why after installing a set of Piaa Running lights, a Canbus, and Gizmomill LED Brake Light.
My fuel gauge has gone nuts.
it will on read 1/4 tank when it's full, all of the new lights work properly, everything else still works fine.
I plan to disconnect everything today and check all the connections, however I don't think I screwed anything up. thanks for any helpful suggestions.

Did you remove the fuel tank to install anything? If so, the fuel level sender unit may be hung up. You may have to open the tank up and look around to see if it is. A length of stiff wire may be able to free it.

Nope, never removed the tank, I very gently fished the lighting harness under the left side of the tank with a piece of 3/32 tig wire. The gauge worked fine before I installed everything?
I am not sure what I am trying to unstick in the tank but I am willing to try anyrthing.
I would like to have my fuel gauge back working.
