Not sure where to post this, so will try the regional discussions. Jobs are tough to find anywhere today, but I've heard it is worse around Detroit. Not sure anyone has accounting background on this forum, but you may know someone.
Pulte Homes (my company) is centralizing accounting processes and locating the National Financial Services group in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. They have multiple positions open as follows:
A/P Manager
A/P Coordinator
A/P Senior Coordinator
A/P Supervisor
Area Controller
Controller
Insurance Coordinator
Senior Accountant
Staff Accountant

YES, there is a referral bonus ($1000-2000 depending on position) and I will split it with the applicant.

Even though the homebuilding industry is really down now, Pulte has been a good company to work for. They are still financially sound and are investing a lot of money into centralizing the accounting, so I would suspect these jobs should be fairly secure.
