On Saturday January 21st after our men's breakfast (starts at 8:30am) we are going to Yucca Valley to Hutchin's Route 62 Diner. There just happens to be a motorcycle dealership (Harley-Davidson, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki) showroom attached to the diner. Sorry, no BMW's but they do have a nice collection of old bikes. It's about a 60 mile ride (120 miles round trip) on good roads. We will take the 10 east to the 62 north (that's where the windmills are) and climb the hill into Yucca Valley - Hutchins is on the right. Some have talked about continuing on to 29-Palms and through Joshua Tree National Park and back (another 180 miles). Others will return to Redlands from the diner. You pick your ride.
We will leave our parking lot at 11 am. You aren't required to attend the breakfast at 8:30 - but you are welcome. Ask for Gary J and I'll get you in for free!
Be sure to invite a friend to join you. Watch the weather to know how to dress. I called today and it's warmer than normal there - in the low sixties. Expect it to be in the 50's. If it is raining we will cancel.
We are meeting in Redlands at Pathway Church on the corner of Redlands Blvd and Cypress Ave. On the 10 east it's the University Exit, right on University till it ends at Cypress Ave and a right on Cypress. At the red light (Redlands Blvd) make a right and look for the first right into our parking lot - you can't miss us. Going west on the 10 take the Cypress Ave to Redlands Blvd and proceed as above.
