I have a BMW Navigator III GPS on my LT. It came with the mount and connecting cable in place. I was thinking of also using it on my GS when I ride it. Is this a good or bad idea? How would you suggest I mount it on the GS, and how would I connect it? It has a unique looking cable connection. Thanks.

See if Touratech or Gadget Guy have mounts for NAV III on a GS. You're probably going to have to buy the cables from Garmin or BMW.

See if Touratech or Gadget Guy have mounts for NAV III on a GS. You're probably going to have to buy the cables from Garmin or BMW.In addition to a mount, you may need a cradle and power cable. Here is a link to Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Motorcycle-Mount-StreetPilot-010-10495-00/dp/B0000ESZV4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1227195264&sr=8-3) so you know what to look for.
