I need some sage advice.
I have changed both throttle cables and the cruise control cable. Everything seems to be OK except there is excess slack in the cruise control cable. The manual says to adjust to 2-3mm of free play, but I have over an inch. Too much for the two adjusters to take up. I have set the adjuster by the throttle bodies to the 9mm specified.
I am thinking that maybe the cruise control unit will take up this slack when it is operational, but again the manual says to set it to the normal cable setting 2-3 mm of free play.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
