Intercom question

Excuse my ignorance on this topic, but my 05 came with all the factory installed outlets for the intercom, cell phone etc.. Am I mistaken to assume that all I need to complete the intercom system is 2 mic/speaker assy's c/w the appropriate connector to plug into the existing front & rear outlets??
