I started with the Blue Sea fuse block, then added the Centech AP-1 & AP-2, and now I've added the Fuzeblock, FZ-1 which has to be the most straighforward fuseblock install of all of them.

With the Fuzeblock FZ-1 (http://www.cyclenutz.com/products/electrical_accessories/fuse_panel_relays/fuzeblock_fuse_block.html) you don't have to worry about external relays because the relay is built into it. Not only does it have the relay already taken care of but switching between constant power & switched power is as simple as moving a fuse to the left or right.

Fuseblock installs don't get any more straightforward than this.

I've been getting some questions about the Fuzeblock so I thought I'd compile a list of Q&A's for anyone else that might be interested.
------------------------
Q: How large of a driving light can I power with the Fuzeblock?

A: The Fuzeblock is rated at 10amp max on a circuit. That means that the largest you should go with driving lights would be a set of 55W driving lights. That means that each light 55W for a total of 110W.

Q: Can I power the Fuego 100W halogen bulbs using this Fuzeblock.

A: NO!! The Fuego 100W Halogen bulbs would total 200W and that's more power than the Fuzeblock is rated for. You can power a pair of the Fuego 55W Halogen or the HID's (35W each).

Q: Can the relay be replaced if it ever fails?

A: Yes and No. While the relay on the unit can be replaced, it requires you to remove the existing one which is soldered in and then solder in the new one. This is something that most people would do in the comfort of their own garage and not on the road.

One of the great things about the Fuzeblock is that if it does fail on a trip, all you have to do is move the fuse from the switched power position to the constant power position and finish your ride as planned, with all of your accessories still working.

For those of you that aren't members of the BMW-MOA there was a good article written about the Fuzeblock FZ-1 in the February ON (http://www.cyclenutz.com/documents/reviews/fuzeblock_MOA_article.pdf) by John Brown of Mix-It products (http://www.mixitproducts.com).

Right now we're out of stock on the FZ-1's but are expecting more in by the 20th. Between now and then you can pre-order the Fuzeblock FZ-1 (http://www.cyclenutz.com/products/electrical_accessories/fuse_panel_relays/fuzeblock_fuse_block.html) at a discounted price and we'll ship them out as soon as they arrive.
