Choctaw Willy's can accomidate as many as show up,
the last time (last year) we had the backroom for ourselves.
With a little more notice and the centralized location we might attract a few more east coasters.

If it isn't working or some other disaster happens, I can always ride brand Suzuki over. Seriously, we should make it with no problem. Hey John, Purpleaire is about 8 miles west of I-75 from the Irvine/Orange Lake (exit #368), about half way between Gainesville and Ocala. BTW, I hosted a tech session at Purpleaire last summer right before CCR. Dave Dragon, Lynn Keen, David Wright, John Rehder, Chuck Gittner and several others showed up. These folks will go just about anywhere for Bar-B-Q!! We did a bunch of wrenching and I fed 'em ribs, pork, beans and slaw. Anyhow, I could meet you guys at the Petro Truck Stop at exit #368 around 9 or 9:30. Your call on the time. Let me know if that would work or if you are coming down US19. Hope we can hook-up! My plan is to ride 44 over to 19 and follow it to Groveland. Should take about 1-1/2 hours or so, I think. Anybody wanting to tag along be at the gas station or let me know here on the site or give me a call at 386-478-3049.

Jim, I'm riding over to Choctaw's, but I'm take'n a little longer route, back roads south to St. Cloud and Kissimmee then up to Groveland. About 150 mi. maybe 2-1/2 hr. Let me know if you want to go that route, I can still meet you at 44 and 415 an hour earlier. -Chuck-

I am sorry to said that I am not going to make it. There has been some certain issues today that I did not have control. I was hoping for the best, but I did not turn my way. First, I needed a 24000 mile service. I dropped my LT off last Tuesday. Remember I good friends with Dusty the owner. So I get thrown to the curb if some other repair or service comes in. He has been busy and he does take care of me. Anyway, my LT was almost finished and I believe the gentleman from Jacksonville got me bumped. Not a problem and I rather have the out of towner in first as I understand about good service. I had another motorcycle lined up. Well, work did not want to help out. There was death investigation in my district which cause the patrol officers to hold calls, which in true made motors answer crash calls. Not a problem either, just that I was going to pick up my replace motorcycle. In short, it did not work out and not going to make it. I will look forward for another RTE.

Had a Great Ride over to Groveland from Holiday, took the scenic East Pasco Twisty route.
We had a nice turnout for some BBQ and enjoyed some Tire Kicking and Farkle gazing.
The sky opened up 5 minutes after I rolled out and pretty much poured all the way back, but it still beats working on a Saturday.http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Great food and friends. The ride over to Groveland was way better than the ride back home. We hit rain in Eustis and had misting the rest of the way back to New Smyrna. Really need to do this a little more often. Marianne had a really good time and felt right at home. Great to see all again. Cannot wait for the next time.
Always fun to see the add-ons in person rather that in pictures. I'm looking into the Micck-O-Pegs, a solution to a real issue. More lights or the pegs are the next farkle, I hope.

Wet ride all the way home.
We all got so engrossed in telling stories (all true) we forgot about the aproaching cold front and rain, until the sky turned black.
The parking lot cleared out in about 60 seconds.

I think we should do this again around the middle of March, anyone have a suggestion for the location?

Family oriented lakefront restaurant that serves beer and good food.
Location is good, now we just have to agree on a date,
To keep us out of the bike week traffic.

3 Bananas is on a lake, a delightful setting, especially if the weather is warm enough to eat outside on the deck.
Sea planes come in from time to time.
Garmin still has the old name, Seacrest if you're trying to find it on your gps.
It's about 1 1/2 blks east of the FL 17 traffic light in Crescent City (there's only 1 light)
If you drive into the water, you went too far.
