they just cant give it away!

pounders are 2.89 a pound
pound and a half are 3.69 per pound! less that deli meat!

i now have over 20 pounds cooked and frozen! great for chowders, and stews, or seafood lasagne!

I watch the lobster boats coming into the portland waterfront all day long, so I know the lobster i buy today, slept in casco bay last night!

i watched 2 older folks "from away" spend twice as much as the 4 lobster cost to overnight it to one of their kids.

they were saying that they still had to pay 20 bucks or more in the restaraunt for a lobster dinner.

damn, we had 3 1.5 pounders for less than 20 bucks. hell, they cant make any money going out to empty the traps, so the market is wicked flooded.

I may buy another 20 or 30 pounds before it gets back sane :):)

If tails wind up cheaper or the same price as good supermarket steak, I might buy a couple.

Fry em up with some onions, habaneros and wrap em in tortias and dunk em in salsa.

Ok, ok...if I lived anywhere nearby I'd be on it! Love 'em sweet thangs! Checked online to see if the Lobster shippers are selling cheep and they ain't. Same prices...$24-$26 for 1 Lb'ers and higher $ for bigger. Dang, maybe supply & demand will lower those shipping outta Maine too! One can only hope.
