Talking on the phone earlier with one of my old friends got me thinking about some of the cute things I remember from back in the old days, when I was a Harley rider.
We had arranged to meet up at a buddy's house a couple of miles outside the city,
there were a couple of real nice sweeper curves on the road to his house and as I rounded one there in the middle of the road was a Snap-on flexhead rachet with a spark plug socket,
a real nice find for an unemployed Harley rider with limited funds.
I picked it up and stuck it in my saddlebags and rode on toward my friends house,
my buddy lanny was already there and they were doing something to his Sportster.
A couple minutes later we were all ready to go for a ride and as we're pulling out of the driveway I mentioned to Lanny that his little leather bag he had attached to his sissybar wasn't buckled,
as he got of his bike and looked in his bag I could tell he wasn't happy,
What ya lose I asked him,
aah you already guessed,
you should have seen the look on his face when I pulled his rachet out of my saddlebags,
"priceless"
