I'm still figuring out how I'm going to get fog lights mounted on my LT. Some great pics were provided by ajlelectronics in my last post but I still need to know if someone has a site that shows the step-by-steps to install the fuse block, relay, and wiring.

While I was at South Sound BMW Saturday to get new ME880s put on and an oil change taken care of, I asked about said fog lights. The shop foreman suggested Motolights at $385.00 and 6 hours of shop time for installation. At $95.00 an hour that's gonna be some serious dollars.

I like the "triangle" effect the Motolights create; however, I'm concerned about the lights giving a steady beam given where they're mounted. Plus, there's that whole $1,000-plus cost. I know I've purchased a BMW but hey, that still seems steep.

Final note: the South Sound BMW people were really nice folks and it was an enjoyable experience.

Don't have step-by-step instructions, but a look at my online instructions might give you an idea. Installing my kit, with PIAA's and harness will take appx. 2.5hr max..

Got my MotoLights on in well under 2 hours. Suppose I could do it in under an hour if I was in a hurry.

Bring them on down and I'll put them on for you if you bring some adult beverage.

Gunny, I wish I could pop over to North Carolina and have you put the lights on; however, it'd take me a bit to get there. Besides, I've never had Carolina barbecue in Carolina, which I imagine makes it taste better. (I know that it's true for Texas 'que anyway.) So, that'd be an excellent reason to visit after the lamps are on!

Ezymount, I'm headed over to your site. I like the way the lamps are tucked away. I wonder if PIAA makes a fog lamp that fits your bracket?
