I had my 6000 mile service done, recently, on my '07 RT, at the dealer. Since, I've had it back, the total mileage figure on the odometer keeps blinking on and off. I can't figure out how to make it stop. If I switch to "Trip A" or "Trip B", that mileage figure doesn't blink. Only blinks when I display total mileage. I can't find anything about this in the manual. At first, I didn't think it was so annoying. Now, I want to drive a wooden stake into the display. Funny how little things, if left to continue, can drive you crazy. Although, in my case, it's not too far a drive....

RoySame thing happened to my 2007 R1200RT after the motorcycle was serviced at the dealer. What happened to both of us is they did a update to the memory with out saving it correctly. The CPU is telling the technician to redo the update thru the total mileage indicator. Please take it back to the dealer and ask them to redo the update following the factory bulletin for that update saving it to the CPU. When the technician does it correctly, the total miles on the dash will stop blinking.

I have used electrical tape to cover certain flashing lights until I get them figured out. :wave :D
