She's HOT too! :rotf:
Her name is Maria Gracinda Teixeira. The former Brazilian model and ballerina is making headlines as she has publicly identified herself as Republican presidential candidate John McCain's former lover. He fondly described her--but did not name her--in his 1999 book "Faith of My Fathers."
The Associated Press reports that Teixeira and McCain were lovers 51 years ago. Now 77 years old, Teixeira met McCain when he was a young Navy sailor in Rio de Janeiro when the ship on which he was stationed, the destroyer USS Hunt, docked in the city for a week in 1957. She was "outed" by local reporters and told the Brazilian media that McCain was a romantic and a "good kisser." "We met because I used to have lunch near the docks," Teixeira told the newspaper Extra. "He is so cute. But I never imagined he would write about me, that was a surprise." Gelson Guimaraes, a long-time neighbor, said that Teixeira "always said she had important lovers but never said anything about McCain." In the book, McCain describes his rowdy stay in Rio, admitting saying he and his fellow sailors "indulged in the vices sailors are famous for." The young sailor later returned to Rio and saw Teixeira once again, but the romance didn't last for long because of "youthful impatience and short attention spans."
