I am coming to Atlanta in September for the superbike races and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a good place to stay not to pricey but safe for the bike and myself reasonably close to Road Atlanta.
Thank You in advance.

I'd really like to know who you are as I try and help you out. Would you mind filling out you profile?? I live with 25 miles of the track, but I need to take a ride up that way to see what's available for you.

Thanks.

Thanks for updating your profile Ken. Give me a little time and I'll see what what's close by. You know you could always come to CCR at Chateu Elan the week before and extend your stay to cover the weekend. I think it's roughly 10 miles between the two.

Cheers

Our own "CCR" rally will be held the same week near Road Atlanta. See the board subject Curve Cowboy Renunion, "CCR". This should be a great week with the Rally then the races on the week end.

I have stayed at the Roadway Inn in Gainsville - was previously a Holiday Inn - still in good shape with included breakfast. Gainsville has a few economy hotels and a Hampton that I know of. I estimate 15 minutes from the track.

See ya at the Rally and Race!!

I will be at the race but not going to make the CCR, but it looks like fun. I have two little ones at home and the race is all I am going to make this year. come down on Thursday and head back on Monday. Short trip but it will be a nice ride.

Your closest hotels for Barber are in the Leeds at Exit 144 on I-20 east of Birmingham. Your looking at the Days Inn (205) 699-9833, the Comfort Inn (205) 640-6600, the Super 8 (205) 640-7091, the Guest House Inn (205) 702-2700, and the Rockintree Bed & Breakfast (205) 699-1790. Leeds is approximately 4 miles east of the Barber Motorsports Park at Exit 140 on I-20 east of Birmingham.

There other hotels closer to Birminham, which will put you 10 to 12 miles away from Barber.

Hope this helps some.
