After changing brake fluid in a 99/00 model(Brembo ABS no lin ked) do always ABS lights keep flashing?? If not, is there any need of re-setting fault memory with a computer or with other methods described here??
Is there any need of bleeding the presssure modulator?. Thanks for any advice, Andoni

I believe you will have to have the default reset. If you have a 911 code reader, or know someone who does, they can do it for you. Otherwise you will have to take it to a dealer to have it reset.

The lights blink when you start her up. Mine stop as soon as I hit the brake backing out of my garage.

The flushing of the system does not require a bleed of the ABS unit as long as you did not let air in during the flush. Yes the flashing lights will need to be re-set after any fault has been cleared (repaired). GS-911 unit with the latest software or the jumper wire procedure described here in an earlier post. And of course the dealer.
Only the integrated ABS self resets after fixing the fault.

Thank you. The exact question should have been: assuming that there is no fault, will solely the change of fluid trigger the abs flashing lights? Just for clarification before I proceed to do the brakes.

It is remotely possible that you dislodged a piece of dirt and it got trapped in the abs unit. Before I had my abs unit replaced, it would trigger the fault while I started out from a stop. When I initially released the clutch the voltage must have dropped below 12 volts to trigger the vault. This happened two times. Some members get lucky by flushing (bleeding) from the abs ports which I think are on top of the abs unit. You will still have to do the reset (and have a fully charged battery).

The actual Brake Fluid Flush should not cause any faults, and thus, no abnormal conditions as far as the ABS lights go. You always have them flashing when you first start up till you get the wheels turning. Did you possibly turn one of your wheels independent of the other while working on the Bike? If so, this can cause a fault due to the wheels being out of sync. This is often the case after one has an accident and the rear wheel spins for a while prior to the shut down. The ABS will need to be reset then by a dealer, or someone with a 911.
