Some time ago, I thought I saw a fellow LTer that had mounted a GXM 30 antenna to a plate that was connected to the radio antenna mount/bracket. I think this good alternative because it's one less thing to cram in or around the handlebars. I'm kinda worried about it getting in the way when turning.
I think it's a great place but I don't have the thread or pics. I have a 2820 I'm going to install and I'm studying on a good place for the hockey puck.
Any suggestions or anyone have the thread?
