Touch of Class in Phillipsburg, NJ, has lost it BMW dealer status. It is still open selling other brands Suzuki MC and Aprilla scooters.
I will be talking to the owner next week to see what he is still able to do for the BMW customers.

Why? Too few sales? Ticked off BMW? Something else?

Malcolm Smith Motorsports of Riverside California also lost their BMW line. They will still service BMWs but no warranty work. In fact there were 3 R1200RT-Ps in the service bay having work done. Two FD failures and the third had the entire brake assembly being replaced.
They lost their BMW line because BMW demanded that they assign extra salespeople to the BMW line and that those individuals would not be allowed to deal/sale any of the other the dealership's brands (Can-Am, Husqvarna, KTM, Kymco, Paiggio, Suzuki, Vespa, Yamaha, Sea Doo, etc, etc.).
The dealership thought that was very unreasonable and not cost effective since the BMW line wasn’t selling well anyway. They refused BMW’s demand and so had the entire line yanked.
So Malcolm Smith Motorsports has now tripled their KTM line. Those bikes are pouring out the door there. I don’t get it.

Touch of Class Cycles was by far the best dealer experience I have ever had. I will gladly ride the 4 to 5 hours from Ocean City, MD for major services if they continue to provided them.

Interesting you mention Husqvarna, since that is now a BMW owned motorcycle line.
