When I saw this my first thought was, this could be my upgrade from the K1200LT. Looks like it would do all the K1200lt would do and more.

I like it, better then any "trike" I'd concider in my old(er) age. It still needs at least a shorty windshield to deflect the wind (and other things) over my helmet.

Nice, but not really a "new" idea. I've seen these at rallys for years.

Of course, one of the up-sides to the VW version is that it could be serviced at any VW dealership, I suppose.

I read about that yesterday, and if they decide to bring that, I guess I'd be one the ones REALLY considering it.
Looks sharp! And the best is that you can still go in the HOV lane!

They need to turn the speedo more towards the driver/rider(?) to obstruct the view from the passenger. In its current position it would definitely provide way to much info two-up. Where's the flower vase?

I wonder if you can get A/c with it????
However...I would miss the higher driving postion I get out of the KLT that puts me on par with all the SUV's and trucks on the road .....its a big safety factor to have that clear vision path...and a definate safety minus factor to be sitting lower in a vehicle that has no visible profile.

"A motorcycle with VW features:"
Except for one huge problem. It doesn't CORNER like a motorcycle. I'm not talking speed. I'm talking that this has all the BAD things about cars and not the ONE thing about motorcycles that has me riding one.
It's pretty cool looking though.
