delaminating street pilot screen

the screen on my street pilot is delaminating. Just wondering if there's any fix I can do beyond sending it back for repair which is very expensive. Anyone have any experience with this?

Mine did the same thing. One day it was OK. The next morning, I go out to the bike and the screen was half delaminated. If it is past warranty, it will cost you. Mine was.

I called Garmin and they said send it to them and pay a $200 service charge, and they would repair or replace it. I talked them into charging only $100 and sent it to them.

When they replaced it, I guess I got a rebuilt one as it never worked right, jumping from screen to screen while riding the bike, but working just fine in the car. Sent that one back and they sent me another. So far no problems.

Yeppir. The bottom line is it's hosed. I have heard a rumour that you can clean it and stick a piece of that 3M plastic on it, but I'm not real sure about that one.
