Well I have complained about all seats I have had from
to Sargent Seats Low and Standard and BMW Low and Standard
and Cee Bailey..
I liked the low Sargent seat the most but want to sit back farther
and know that know company is going to make custom built pans
for few who require them.
I know the way I felt on RT that I needed to sit back another 1 to
2 inches.
So yesterday took Sargent Seat and cut the rear seat where it tapers
towards the front seat and cut the pan and foam by 2 1/2" and drove it
with foam pushed back to that area
What a difference that made in making you feel more stretched out and
less cramped in sitting..
Now I will take aluminum and make the two seats one and where the taper
was make that a backrest for myself and put small hump at top to keep
wife in place and send to upholster and hopefully find happiness with RT.
Yesterdays ride made up for me cutting into new Sargent seat after
spending almost 9oo for it and finding comfort at last.
I know I now have to work on rear seat for wifes comfort some on changing
foam for Sargent is just to firm..
Will post pictures when completed hopefully at end of October.
Good Luck in finding your seating comfort...Joe
