Banjo bolt part #34322331540 banjo bolt, black (M10X1)
I ran a search and found links like "Our continuing slide into socialism"? :-)
I'm guessing its a standardized part that I can pick up at Pep Boys, or some place like it once I get it's specs.

Bob,
If you haven't bled the brakes yet, take one of the other banjo bolts off, and hit a parts store (you might get lucky!).
Neither my BMW nor Clymer manuals give the specifications or part number for the banjo bolt (although they reference it frequently), and I couldn't find any on the web.

Bob is looking for a (M10X1) banjo. Naming convention suggests that it a 10 mm bolt with a 1 mm pitch, which I think is also know as metric fine. It might be fairly standard in hydraulic shops or Honda/Yamaha/UJM dealers.

Thanks Gunny and Graham.
Maybe I can find a nice chrome one? Sorry--a flash back to my HD days in the 70s.
Been working on the front brakes; finally got em working. It was amazingly easy when I removed the front air scoop.
Once I figured out that I had to mount the handle bar covers before I tightened down the front brake fluid container, that went smoothly. I had to reroute the line from under the tank to the Tee fitting from behind a bundle of wire to in front of it to put it back into a plastic clamp.
I figured out that I has to bleed both lines to front brake, unlike changing the fluid where I could do one side then the other.
Now the PITA, all of those panels and fairings have to go back on.
At least the temp should start going down now--better than trying to do this when its cold!
