I just spent the past few days identifying and adding titles to my comprehensive collection of 70s music. Not just any 70s music, but mostly the stuff that as a kid, I'd hear on my parent's AM radio in the car on long trips.

Like it or not, here it is...

There are two notables missing. That stupid song from the Poseidon Adventure. And "Loving You" with at bloodcurdling screech in it.

Nice list. Off the top of my head, here's few I didn't see.

Never gonna give you up - Barry White
Nights on Broadway - Bee Gees
About a half dozen Curtis Mayfield tunes
The Last Resort - Eagles
Frankenstein - Edgar Winter
Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley
Going to Carolina - Jame Taylor
Danny's Song - Loggins & Massina
Can We Still Be Friends - Todd Rundgren
Do You Feel Like We Do - Peter Frampton
Excitable Boy - Warren Zevon

I've heard these...

Never gonna give you up - Barry White
Frankenstein - Edgar Winter
Suspicious Minds - Elvis Presley
Danny's Song - Loggins & Massina
Do You Feel Like We Do - Peter Frampton

But have never heard any of the rest.

On the Frampton, do you go for the 6:44 studio cut or the 16:33 live cut off the Frampton Comes Alive album?

I like and have some of your stuff. Some of it is scary. :D

I primarily alternate back and forth between Deep Tracks and the new one that plays 80's rock hits (not Boneyard or HairBand Hits) on XM.

That's like asking an Allman fan if "Live at the Phillie" has the best Whipping Post.

Just imagine what Janice Joplin could have done with Whippin Post?

I would say most people have never heard the studio version. The "Comes Alive" album made Frampton popular, and Do You Feel was THE track from the album. I prefer the live version, but that's usually the case if it's a good recording. Just more...raw.

I went through a big R&B stage back in the '70s, lot's of good stuff back then. Curtis Mayfield had quite a few hits that got some crossover play.

The concept of an 'ear worm' was recently discussed on another site. An 'ear worm' is one of those songs that gets into your head and won't go away. Today's ear worm for me is:
