Hi All,

A fellow rider (BMW) has performed for me a great act of kindness.

Naturally, he wants nothing in return a simple "payback" for some help I rendered him earlier.

What to get him?

Any ideas?

His LT is pretty "tricked-out" already, so farkles are probably off the list.

Thanks in Advance.

Joe

Knowing your appreciation is usually enough for folks that believe in the golden rule. Karma takes care of the return. Beyond that....hookers and blow is always a nice gesture.

I've found that where as here your friend really does not need or want anything, a charitable donation in his or her name seems to be well received. I most recently made a donation in a friend's name to Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camps for Kids ( www.holeinthewallgang.org) which happens to be my friend's favorite charity. But you might also consider a motorcycle related charity such as NMSF or 11-99 Foundation (benifits fallen California Highway Patrol) etc.

Do they have gas stations (Chevron, Shell, etc...) git cards? If so a $20.00 card would just about fill up his LT tank.

I know you want to return the kindness, but it's obvious the person's act of kindness was all the reward he needs or wants. I believe he would feel much better if at some point in the future you could tell him how his act caused you to pay it forward.

Paying him back is not gonna make him feel better, it'll only make you feel better. You can reward both him and yourself by doing for someone else.

Good point!

This particular act would lend itself to paying forward. As a matter of fact, that's how I first helped him.

How "loose" are UPS shipping regulations

I was going to suggest you get him a mistress, but a hooker might be cheaper in the long run.

Somethings, used occasionally rather than full time, are usually more economical to rent rather than to purchase.

You know the difference between a hooker, a mistress, and a housewife?

The hooker says, "Faster, FASTER"

the mistress says, "Slower, SLOWER"

and the housewife says "Beige"

"I think I'll paint the ceiling beige."
