Might be trading my 07 GT in tomorrow

I've been missing my RT. The smoother transmission, throttle delivery, and flickable handling. The only advantage I have found the GT has is high speed interstate travel. It effortlessly cruises as fast as I'd like, with no annoying vibration. Otherwise the RT is a beter balanced bike for me.

Anyway, I have a deal on a blue 08 RT. Trade in gor my GT is $15,500, and they are selling the RT for $16,300 MSRP is $19,184) after rebates. I'm, asking myself, "how can I go wrong for $800.00?" Nobody else was even close to meeting this deal.

Frankly, I would have more pause if the deal was not so attractive.

I lost my butt after only 800 miles on an 06 GT..
Traded my 05 RT for it and almost immediately regretted it.
Did 145mph on it en route to trade it back in on another RT. I thought, that was interesting but I will not have any need to ever do it again.
Ahh. In love with my RT. Strip the luggage. Lower the screen and open the throttle to the stop. Plenty fun for me. :)

WOW!!! I am a new rider and thought I was getting a bargain for my new RT which I paid 19185-750(BMW rebate) = 18435.... They would not BUDGE from that price... Of course it was their LAST 08 RT at the dealership but still.... You got a deal over 2k less than I paid... Amazing and congrats on that one!!! I guess I cannot bargain... Of course they were offering 2250 off the 21190 sticker of the 3 GTs they had left on the lot... That dealer told me they sold 3X as many RTs this year as they did GTs and that was why the RT price would NOT move... Oh well, glad you got such a great deal...

Nobody else was close to Chicago BMW. They were all about 2k off their price, which made the switch irrestible to me. Don't feel bad.

By the way...riding the RT feels like I'm home. What a tremendous bike!
