tire types

it's time for new tires.
what type and brand is available for the lt now? the metzleters only have about 7k on them, but they are making allot of noise and I have a cut in one. is asking which tire is best a loaded question? :)

Just put new ME 880's on mine. I had 17,000 on the rear and more than that on the front. This is my third set. I like 'em just fine.

does the lt need to run bias ply, or does anyone make a radial for it?

Stick with the ME880...

If you got 7K you really can't go wrong with that.
Some of us can't get 4K.

ME880 is a good tire for the LT... It CAN handle extreme riding.

The Avon Storms can not hold up to aggreesive riding.

Nope - BikeBandit goofed. There is another tire thread running currently wherein someone questioned them and found out they erred.

They are crooked in my book and I will never do business with them again.
No matter what discounts that they offer me eight months later.
They still stole my money when they canceled my order.
If they did it to me, how many others didn't catch it?
Even after the marketing person called me, they never credited my account.
It was only 13.07 but it is really based on principal... And I will let everyone know of their practices until I die or they go out of business.
