Moto GP Weekend

Greetings Everyone,

Planning to attend the Moto GP race, bought the 3 day tix. Me and 7 others will be commuting from Sulphur Springs (appox 50 mi to track). Hope to see many other Beemer Riders over the weekend. I have an 03 LT, Jeff from Auburn has a 05 LT and Steve from Sulphur has a 04 RT. :bmw: The others are struggling with there identity. :rolleyes:

I did notice that Indy BMW on west 16th street is having a party on Friday the 12th from 6:30pm to 10:30pm $25 prior 30 day of. Not sure what the 30 covers.

I'm running over there to pick up parts today (shift linkage - LT is no fun stuck in 1st gear!) and I'll try to find out more about what all the party entails...

My Wife & I will also be there Thursday thru Sunday. We have seats in Stand E , Box 3 , Row N . We will be staying in our motorhome in 3G .

OK, as mentioned, tickets are $25, $30 at the door. Catered by a local company (pulled pork was mentioned). Live band will be performing Scandanavian acapella Techno-Polka favorites (actually, don't know what genre it will be playing). BMW and Triumph will have thier trailer/mobile displays there and will be doing demo rides wed-fri. I believe the demo rides end around 6 as the party starts but the displays will be there. Might be a good time to pester them more about future LT rumors?

That's all the info I got from the dealership... they're being kept in the dark on it a bit as well.
