Greetings All,
Operation tire change went well today. Had to borrow an axle tool from the tire guy, but it wasn't a big deal.
Too soon to tell about the tires. Seem okay so far, but it's only 20 miles from home to work and I'm taking it easy for now.
At any rate, thanks for all of the help during this evolution. Sure am glad to have you folks around to help out.
Cheers!

If you could please keep us posted on how those tires work out. I was really wanting the Pilot Road 2's but I have also been thinking about the Dunlop's even though my RT came with Dunlop tires from the factory and they sucked. I read a post recently with some negativity about the Pilot Road 2's do you anything about that?

RoadSmarts just rolled over 6000 KM and I just returned from 3 days riding the most challenging roads in our area. Conditions ranged from heavy rain, high winds, thick fog and beautiful sunshine. 300 KM of turns, steel mountains, switchbacks. We dodged animals, cages and gravel in corners from recent flooding. The RoadSmarts are staying! They never let me down including having to go into a full panic stop with ABS hammering at 130 KPH with heavy rain when a cage pulled in front of me. Tread wear is good at this point, but even if it only comes close to what I saw on Conti OEMs, I will stay with the RM. Very satisfied.

These Roadsmarts are going to be a good tire (at least on my GT). It's the first tire on my GT that I've had go 5000+ miles.
