Ok, new rider question. Like an idiot I over filled the gas tank of my R1200RT. It over flowed enough to spill a small amount on the ground. Now I am fairly sure gasoline evaporates quickly, but are there any concerns I should have. I am not planning a long ride for at least 12 hours.
Please don't be to rough on me. I already feel pretty stupid.
Thanks.

Hey Louis Welcome.
I don't own a RT but the LT has an overflow hose...I imagine yours does as well........if not no biggie 'cept for your paint finish.

You will be fine. Spills like that on hot engines can be troublesome if a fire breaks out. I usually try to flush the area with water if you can find it (remember the free air and water at gas stations?).

Thanks guys. I figured all was good. Wife and I are going to take a nice ride around the Rockies tomorrow. Just wanted to make sure I was not going to blow up. :)
I will try to post a few pictures.
Thanks again.
