Some other time I may post the story behind this post. If you are considering installing a peg lowering kit on the R1200RT, be aware that a tip over will break the foot peg.
Also the left passenger foot peg will work for the driver left peg--but not the right. Of course if this happens to you, you may need to leave the passenger by the side of the road. It was probably the passenger's fault anyway!
