Hello again,
Has anybody had any issues with brake fluid? If you felt compelled to change out your fluid earlier then the reccommended interval, what was the reason? I am asking because recently I had the rotors changed to the fully floating type due to some low speed grabbing. It almost completely stopped that issue but after the bike is ridden, and the brakes have a chance to heat up, it seems the problem comes back ever so slightly. In the average passenger car the brakes will seem to grab if the fluid has run its course. I believe it may retain more moisture over time. I am attempting to apply this logic to motorcycles. I wonder if the fluid may be a factor.

Any suggestions????

Thanks,
Ed

I never heard of grab issues due to bad fluid. Spongy due to air / water, but grabbing? Interesting... So far at 3700 since March, no issues to speak of...

I have brake pulsation at about 4000 miles. I have complained about it a couple times and my dealer says they have to file paperwork with BMW to get the rotors replaced. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. This is a very agravating thing for me. I hope BMW does the right thing for me.
