Anyone in the Ventura (or other) area interested in meeting on Sunday of Labor Day weekend for breakfast and maybe a ride?
Soule Park Golf Course, 1033 East Ojai Avenue (Highway 150)
Meet at 8:30 am or so, breakfast and then up the 33? If there is enough interest, in the past I have been able to reserve their bar area for a small group.

Hi Jerry -
I'm pretty sure I'll be available - we could even ride together to Ojai. I'll know more in a few days but for now count me in - thanks!

Sounds like fun. I'll still be up in Utah that weekend, but y'all should take lots of pics.

We go to Ojai quite often and eat at Il Giardino.
We'll be on the way back home from CCR on Sunday and will miss the party.
Have fun!!!

With CCR going, this is the chance for those not lucky enough to go to Utah to go to beautiful Ojai. Almost as good :rotf:

Ted,
Looks like just a couple of us. Which is plenty! ;)
Shall you and I meet in the Wells Fargo parking lot, Carmen and Paseo Camarillo, at 8:00 am?

I guess Mark didn't get his kitchen pass! :)
Ted and I met up in Camarillo, had a great breakfast at the golf course, and then went up the 33 to the 166, across to the 101, down through the 154 and home on the 101. About 270 miles or so, through some great roads, and beautiful weather. Only got into the high 80's inland, mid-70's on the coast.
We swapped lies, enjoyed watching the waitress, and had a smooth trip.
Hope to get a few more people on the next try. I think Ted and I are about out of grade A lies, and we'll have to revert to grade B without some help! ;)

We had a great ride! As Grif says on another post, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way...." I lost count of our HD brethren that need to review the "get out of the way" part. Let's just say they allowed Jerry and me to get some great gas mileage.
Still a good ride, though. We'll need to do it again!
