I left home at 0630 to meet a few other riders in Burtonsville. The temp was 39 degrees an only need a little heat for the hands. We headed over to Virginia to Parr's annual Polar Bear Ride. Bmw in general was well represented and I saw at least 6 LT's. Six of us decided to do our own ride. Had a great ride an covered over 200 miles.

Dave, it sounds like you had a great ride! I have had family in from out of town but I went for a short ride this morning up to Seven Valleys, PA for coffee and back. Then the rains came!

It did get down to 53 degrees though, with a bit of rain on the return. It was still worth it.

Yep, about 200 bikes showed at the Rockbottom Brewery for the "First Ride of the Year" event in Castle Rock. Mostly BMW, with a few hacks, Triumphs, mebbe two H-D.
Nice weather, @60 or so with a light breeze from 0 to 60 ;)
