Yesterday I got word that someone I knew, actually my former boss died Aug 1st in a motorcycle accident. While I felt no special love for the guy, that was not something I wished on him either. Maybe Ceiling Cat in his mysterious ways added up all the Karma (lawyer) and worked his magic.
The way the accident report is written it seems that he must have highsided the bike on a straight road alone, nobody else involved. Foe *ME* this goes to show that someone who has almost next to no experience should not ride a CBRR1000 rocketship (4 years of ownership and 800 miles last time I saw him)
There could be other factors as well since I saw him riding a number of times without helmet.
One thing I can say for myself with certainty though: He must have been faster than the 35 mph limit at that point, which may or may not have been a reason and/or cause for what happened.
May he rest in peace and may Ceiling Cat come to peace with Robb.
