Always wondered when the inevitable would happen.



For the FIRST TIME in Central Ohio...................




I saw another BMW K1200LT on the road that I was not riding with or was not Howard on I-70.

It was today (mon) at Riverside Hospital.

How long before you saw an LT after you bought yours???

Guy riding it was wearing full face, but shorts and tennis shoes. Late Model.

Hey Mike, if you hang around the entrance to Mohio you'll see one from time to time. A couple of weeks back, I met up with John Diehl and Fred Turner; for a few minutes there were three of 'em in the parking lot! :rolleyes:

But, I know what you mean: we don't see many in central Ohio. I saw two riding together on I-270 a year ago and nearly fell over.

I don't go two weeks without seeing an LT up here. Y'all are just weird down there, now aincha?! :p

I haven't seen any BMW"s in central Alabama yet.Only Harleys and they are everywhere.I went to Mississippi yesterday and they must have had a rally,I guess I saw about 500 on the way to the casino's

Okay, I'm gonna schedule this with you Buckeyes now, well in advance...we'll be riding up Hwys 93 and 33 from Ironton to Lancaster, OH right around Halloween week, so get the cameras ready.

And you Alabama types missed us when we rode Gertrude all the way across Alabama twice this past July on our way to and from CO....maybe it's harder to spot the black ones.

GS & GSA's are really common up here - and on rare occasions an LT will pop up - but not often.

Maybe it's because the Ohio State Police are notorious for ringing you up on the interstates...........

I wear ATGATT, wasnt me. It was about a week before I saw another LT when I got my 05....

I live near Rushville, east of Lancaster on US 22 and SR 664. Lancaster is 10-15 minutes from my house. Keep in touch on this; maybe we'll have a ticker-tape parade for you down Main Street, past the Sherman House! :cool:
